We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Project Management Office (PMO) team. This role requires someone who has a broad level of program and project management experience; including methodologies, technical knowledge of SaaS product companies, and familiarity working in both technical and non-technical domains. The Product Manager will make thoughtful decisions while planning and executing complex programs and projects; will learn and understand Spreedly’s business, operational models, and technical infrastructure; and will assist in driving the program and project management lifecycle for complex strategic Enterprise engagements.  They will build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders across every department within the business, as well as Spreedly's senior and executive leadership teams.
 
As a member of Spreedly’s Enterprise PMO, this person will have responsibility for chartering and executing on some of the organization's most impactful initiatives. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create work-breakdown structures, identify and manage risks and critical dependencies, and establish repeatable delivery processes and standardized frameworks for the effective delivery of strategic initiatives across the organization.  Additionally, the Project Manager will track project progress, escalate critical risks/issues, keep the leadership team updated, and engage leadership when pivotal decision-making is needed. They will identify processes that will be most effective in helping us achieve our goals and facilitate regular cross-team retrospectives. 

Responsibilities

    • Manage stakeholder expectations, project charter, scope, and resources needed to plan, manage, and deliver initiatives successfully
    • Provide analysis that supports the business objectives in alignment with the corporate vision
    • Develop and communicate project and program status, risks, and issues to all levels of stakeholders, ranging from technical staff to executive management
    • Be accountable for reliable and repeatable program delivery processes, metrics, and operational procedures
    • Subject matter expert for project management  methodologies, including training, mentoring and supporting  teams to follow principles and practices
    • Schedule and facilitate program/project events, meetings, and decision-making processes
    • Develop and maintain a foundational knowledge of Spreedly technologies, as well as emerging technologies
    • Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to provide reports focused on financial and resource management data to aid with revenue and budgetary goals
    • Coordinate with other groups to obtain relevant data about the project opportunity and resource requirements
    • Continually provide suggestions and implement improvements to business and reporting processes that keep up with changes in the organization

Requirements

    • 2-4 years of successful experience as a project manager or similar role, having demonstrated strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple large, complex, strategic projects, programs, and portfolios at once
    • 3+ years of relevant experience defining, developing, and executing program-level management and/or delivery strategies, operations, and action plans
    • 1+ year of leadership experience or equivalent training
    • 1+ years working with, but preferably managing, project execution with offshore development teams
    • Industry certification such as PMP, AgilePM, Scrum Master or similar preferred 
    • Background in IT or SaaS environment is preferred
    • Located in Eastern Standard Time (EST), or willing to work an adjusted schedule based on EST
